Fourth graders learn Shoshone Bannock Tribe practices in Fort Hall

FORT HALL, Idaho (KIFI) - Blackfoot School District fourth graders were invited to learn all about the ways and practices of the Shoshone Bannock Tribe in Fort Hall Tuesday. Organizers not only wanted to make this a learning experience but also a fun, lasting memory.

The Indigenous Club at Blackfoot High School helped to put on and arrange the event. They are always motivated to spread their culture and heritage to others to help them learn the importance of culture itself.

Activities included cultural dance and sports, arts and crafts, storytelling and even a history trip to explore the Shoshone Bannock Tribal Museum to learn more on their background.

The Indigenous Club is hoping to make this an annual tradition and offer more activities to the children next year.
