Correction: Migration-Spain story

MADRID (AP) — In a story published Jan. 18, 2023, about deaths on migration routes to Spain in 2022, The Associated Press erroneously reported that the International Organization for Migration only uses official records for fatality numbers. The IOM also compiles numbers from media reports, nongovernmental organizations and interviews with migrants.
