Grand Targhee plans Wednesday opening
ALTA, Wyo. (KIFI/KIDK)-Grand Targhee Resort has announced it plans to open its season on Wednesday.
Thanks to natural snow and favorable snow-making temperatures, the resort said it would open Shoshone and Papoose with access to the Big Horn trail on Wednesday. Lift tickets will be $10 until more terrain becomes available skiers and snowboarders. There is a possibility of more snow later in the week.
Resort lodging accommodations, the Trap Bar, the General Store, Snorkels Café, the Branding Iron, Wild Bills, Teton Mountain Outfitters, The Board Shop, the Rental Shop, Ski & Snowboard School, and Kids Club will also open beginning Wednesday.
As of Tuesday morning, the resort was reporting a base depth of 26 inches.
