3 things to know this morning – October 12, 2023

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) - Here's what you should know to start your Thursday.

1. The Bannock County Prosecutor’s Office filed a new felony criminal complaint against Lance Peck, the former owner and operator of Downard Funeral Home. It includes multiple felony charges against peck relating to tax law violations, forgeries, and grand theft. Peck is scheduled to appear in court on the new charges October 16th.

2. A group of 13 people from Pocatello’s Holy Spirit Catholic Community are currently stuck in Israel. All week their travel agency has been telling them everything is fine, but yesterday they were informed that they are now on their own. They are seeking donations through Go-Fund-Me to pay for the group's airfare out of Israel. 

3. The Wall of Warmth initiative is now taking donations for this year's drive. You can donate clean or gently used coats or other outdoor gear from now until November 22nd. This year, the project is adding four new wall locations.
