Rigby outlasts Coeur d’Alene to win first state football title
MOSCOW, Idaho (KIFI/KIDK) - Rigby is state football champs for the first time in school history. The Trojans outlasted Coeur d'Alene 57-56 in double overtime Saturday to win the 5A crown.
Rigby converted a two point conversion in the second overtime to grab the win. In the process, the Trojans avenge their only loss of the season. Rigby opened the season with a 31-26 loss to the Vikings. They haven't lost since.
