Boise State takes down Idaho State

POCATELLO, Idaho (KIFI) - The Boise State softball team jumped out to a 3 run lead in the first inning and never looked back at Miller Ranch Stadium.

The Broncos beat Idaho State 8-2 and hand the Bengals their 8th straight loss to Boise State.

Jordyn Hutchins hit her fifth home run for the Broncos this season in the first inning. Idaho State's Angelica Cano hit her third home run of the year in the third inning.

The Bengals start a three-game home stand against Montana with a double-header on Saturday.
