Sugar-Salem marks sixth state title this year by raising boys track championship banner

SUGAR CITY, Idaho (KIFI) - Sugar-Salem High School celebrated its sixth state championship as a school this season by raising their boys track championship banner Tuesday morning.

The track championship caps an incredible year athletically for the Diggers, as well as a major milestone.

Boys Track and Cross Country Head Coach Brett Hill won his 50th state title as a head coach, and his 25th at Sugar-Salem. It's his second championship this school year after the Boys Cross Country took home a state title in the fall.

At the same ceremony, the Class of 2022 was also honored for the scholarships they have earned, which totaled over $3.6 million.
