Second half scoring propels Thunder Ridge to a 3-0 start in a 2-0 win over Blackfoot

AMMON, Idaho (KIFI) - In a good battle Thursday afternoon, the Thunder Ridge Titans prevailed over the Blackfoot Broncos in a 2-0 shutout thanks to a pair of second half tallies.

After a scoreless first despite a mountain of scoring chances on both sides, the Titans tallied both goals in the second half.

Those goals helped Thunder Ridge spoil its opponent's season opener for the third straight contest, as the Titans are a perfect 3-0 to begin the season.

Next up, Thunder Ridge takes on Skyline Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the Idaho Falls Soccer Complex, while Blackfoot hosts Rigby Monday at 4:30 p.m.
