A departing storm system will produce lingering snow in

western Maine and northern portions of Vermont, New

Hampshire and New York tomorrow. Elsewhere in the Northeast,

spotty rain and snow showers are expected in central New

York and west-central Pennsylvania, especially during the

morning hours. Farther west, rain is expected to dampen

central and eastern Nebraska and eastern Kansas, potentially

extending as far south as Oklahoma. Light rain and mountain

snow will fall in northern Idaho and western Montana. A bit

of light snow could blanket the Colorado Rockies.

Temperatures are forecast to be well below normal in the

Northeast and Ohio Valley, with a cold wind adding to the

chill. Recent downpours will abate in Florida, with sunshine

returning to much of the state.
