Winds increasing and a slight risk for thunderstorms

An area of low pressure is approaching from the west coast, as we lose our ridge of high pressure. We’ll see increasing winds for Wednesday and Thursday, with a chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Tuesday night, mostly clear with lows in the upper 40’s. A light winds at 5-10 mph.

Wednesday, partly cloudy with a few isolated thunderstorms late in the day. Highs in the lower 80’sm with winds at 10-15 mph, with gusts around 20 mph.

Thursday, A chance of rain before noon, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Partly sunny, with a high in the lower 70’s. South southeast wind 7 to 15 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph.

Friday, sunny skies with highs in the lower to mid 60’s.
