Windy and sunny for Thursday; temperatures heating up for Friday and Saturday

A weak disturbance is moving through the region late Wednesday, triggering a few thundershowers, mainly for our local mountains close to the Montana state line. On Wednesday night, look for a slight chance of rain between 9pm and 10pm. Cloudy during the early evening, then gradual clearing, with a low temperature around 47°. Winds will be out of the south around 10 mph.

Sunny with winds for Thursday. We’ll see high temperatures in the mid to upper 70’s for the Snake River Plain. There is a slight chance of thunderstorms for the afternoon and evening. Winds will be out of the southwest around 15-20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Staying breezy overnight with low temperatures dropping to the mid 40’s.

Friday will be sunny with an afternoon breeze from the southwest around 10-15 mph. High temperatures will be warmer, reaching the lower 80’s for the Snake River Plain.

Hot and sunny for Saturday with highs in the mid 80’s. Winds will increase for Saturday afternoon as low pressure moves in for Sunday. Temperatures will be cooler for Sunday with a chance of showers.
