Windy with scattered showers Tuesday

We’re looking for rainy and windy weather to start rolling in late Monday night and lasting through our Tuesday. Thanks to low pressure moving through, look for gusty winds and cooler temperatures as well.

Overnight, low temperatures will fall to around 50° for the Snake River Plain. There is a 50% chance of rain, with wind gusts as high as 25 mph.

On Tuesday, look for a chance of rain and thunderstorms with some clearing in the afternoon and evening. High temperatures will reach the mid to upper 60’s. Windy, with a south-southwest wind around 15 to 25 mph increasing to 25 to 35 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 45 mph. The chance of precipitation is 40%. Clearing and windy for Tuesday night, with a low temperature in the lower 40’s.

Partly cloudy and windy for Wednesday. There is a chance of showers, mainly for the mountains. Winds from the southwest around 15 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph.

Nice for Thursday with sunny skies and a high near 72°.
