Windy and slightly cooler for Wednesday

As a dry cold front moves through the region Tuesday afternoon and evening, we’ll continue to see gusty winds off and on through tonight and Wednesday. Overnight, look for some blowing dust and clear skies. Winds will be out of the southwest around 10-20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Low temperatures will fall to the lower 50’s.

Sunny and breezy for Wednesday with high temperatures reaching the mid 80’s. Winds will be out of the southwest around 5 to 10 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph. Mostly clear for Wednesday night, with a low around 48°. West northwest winds around 15 to 20 mph becoming north around 10 mph in the evening. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph.

Sunny and warm for Thursday with lighter winds. We’ll see high temperatures in the lower to mid 80’s for the Snake River Plain. Light winds from the north around 5 mph..
