I Love ISU Scholarship Drive huge success

Organizers say the 2019 “I Love ISU Scholarship Drive” was a huge success.

For the last two days, volunteers have been contacting businesses and individuals to help raise money for scholarships.

Every time a donation was made the volunteers would ring a bell, and the bells just kept on ringing as Idaho State University supporters opened their hearts and their pocketbooks to fund student scholarships.

This year the goal for the annual fundraising drive was $300,000.

The final numbers are in and not only did they hit their goal, they beat it.

The scholarship drive generated $360,218.

1,443 individuals and businesses donated during the two-day event.

Organizers say they are thrilled with the result and are very grateful to everyone how helped “Raise the Roar.”
