Deadly motorcycle accident
An Ammon man is dead after a motorcycle crash east of Palisades.
It happened at around 8 p.m Sunday on US 26 at milepost 392.
Idaho State Police says Chad Elliott and his passenger Patricia Beyer of Idaho Falls, were riding west on a motorcycle when they think he missed a curve in the road and drove off the embankment.
Neither of them were wearing helmets.
Elliott died at the scene and Beyer was flown to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls where her condition is still unknown.
