2019 Idaho Spud Days brings communities together to celebrate Idaho’s famous food
Idaho is famous for lots of things, but nothing is more famous than the potato. The community of Shelley and nearby areas celebrated the 2019 Idaho Spud Days on Saturday.
Huge crowds were on hand in Shelley for the 91st annual celebration.
The day started with breakfast and then popular parade.
Events then moved to the park where there were entertainment and food. Everyone was treated to an Idaho spud with all of the fixings.
After food, the competitions began. Future farmers were trying their hand at potato harvesting with a race to get all the spuds in the basket.
