Scattered storms and wind are coming

A shortwave to ripple across East Idaho and Sawtooth mountains and that brings a chance of showers/storms with some upkick winds today. This ahead of a cold front tomorrow which will bring a 30% chance of storms for most and much cooler temperatures.

Average temps for this part of our year in Idaho Falls are usually in the upper 70's.  We will peak in the lower 80's again today. Mornings chill to the upper 40's and we'll have mid 70's by lunchtime.

Showers/storm chances linger into Wednesday and highs will only crest to the low 70's, feeling more like a pumpkin spice explosion all up in here.
