IDGOP releases statement after 6 Ada County Republican Party officers resign
BOISE, Idaho (KIFI) - The Idaho Republican Party has responded to the resignation of six Ada County Republican Central Committee officers.
The six cited five accusations against the state GOP as their reasons for stepping down.
One of those accusations was a lack of transparency of how county dues are spent by the state GOP.
The Ada County Republicans said the $64,000 they owed in dues was hindering their ability to help Republican candidates win elections.
The state Republican party says it categorically denies each of the accusations.
The state GOP also said some counties were not paying their fair share of dues and forcing others to shoulder the burden and the former Ada County Chairman campaigned on the promise to have Ada County pay its fair share of dues.
