Rain and thunderstorms forecast through Saturday

More wet weather will roll in from the south tonight, keeping showers and thunderstorms in the forecast through Friday. For Thursday night, showers and storms are likely before midnight, followed by a slight chance of rain between midnight and 1 a.m. Skies will remain mostly cloudy, with the low near 50 degrees.

Friday will bring another chance for showers and thunderstorms, especially late in the afternoon. Clouds should gradually give way to some clearing, and the high will reach about 75 degrees. Light winds will turn southerly at 5 to 10 mph during the morning. The chance of precipitation is 60%.

The unsettled pattern continues Saturday, starting with a chance of rain before showers become likely after noon, possibly with a thunderstorm. Expect mostly cloudy skies and a high near 75 degrees.

By Sunday, the weather will take a much brighter turn. Sunshine returns, and afternoon temperatures climb to around 80 degrees.
