Idaho Falls Art Festival Draws Big Crowds

For the second straight day, crowds of people flooded the Idaho Falls greenbelt to check out the Eagle Rock Art Guild Sidewalk Festival.

The 57th annual event drew 70 artists, mostly from the northwest, as well as food vendors and performers.

From painting and pottery to music, the festival brought some fresh talent and unique pieces like the Bristlecone fountains out of Denver.

“We pick out each piece of wood individually, bring it down, (and) work on it,” said artist Christine Nanney. “We do all our own copper work, all our own glass work.”

Nanney said it’s a great way to bring the outdoors inside.

The festival is in celebration of the Eagle Rock Art Guild’s 63rd anniversary
