Soldier From Kuna Killed In Afghanistan
Military officials say Idaho soldier Sgt. Devin Daniels was one of two soldiers killed last week when an improvised explosive device detonated while they were inside a vehicle.
The U.S. Army said Wednesday the 22-year-old Kuna resident was killed Aug. 25 while conducting an operation in Afghanistan.
Army officials released few other details of fatal explosion.
Relatives say Daniels loved and excelled at his life in the military, including achieving Army Ranger status at a young age.
He was promoted after his death from the rank of corporal to sergeant.
He is survived by his wife Samantha and daughter Olivia, both of whom live outside Idaho.
