2 Of 3 Killed At Nev. Restaurant Were Guardsmen
Police says three people are dead after a gunman opened fire at a Nevada IHOP restaurant, wounding himself and nine other people.
The shooting happened at about 9 a.m. at the Carson City restaurant, located in a strip mall on the state capital’s main street.
Carson City Sheriff Kenny Furlong says the gunman is still breathing but is not expected to survive. He says at least two of the three people killed were National Guardsmen, who were in uniform.
Furlong says law enforcement officers responded but fired no shots during the ordeal.
No names or motive have been released.
