Jackson Man Faces Felony Drug Charges
A Jackson man arrested on a warrant for felony delivery of a controlled substance on April 23 is now facing other drug-related charges.
When Teton County, Wyo, sheriff’s deputies contacted Henry Basuki, 29, at his home, they saw a large amount of cash, plastic baggies and a digital scale. They arrested Basuki without incident on the arrest warrant, but also secured the residence and obtained a search warrant for the premises based on their observations.
Upon execution of the search warrant, deputies seized more than $4,000 in cash, cocaine with a street value of approximately $6,000, and numerous other items used in the illegal distribution of controlled substances.
Basuki was then also charged with additional offenses of felony possession of cocaine and felony possession of cocaine with intent to deliver. Additional investigation through Immigrations Customs Enforcement determined that Basuki is in the United States illegally from Indonesia, and ICE has placed a detainer on him for that reason at the conclusion of his criminal cases, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office.
Basuki was booked into the Teton County Jail. The matter remains under investigation by the Teton County Sheriff?s Office, Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation and Immigration Customs Enforcement.
