Idaho Falls Care Center Medicare Revoked
Medicare patients at a local care facility have less than two weeks to find a new place to live.
Federal funding for Medicare has been terminated for the Idaho Falls Care and Rehabilitation Center.
Stephanie Magill, with the Centers For Medicare and Medicaid, confirms the facility has undergone multiple inspections due to complaints from beneficiaries and caregivers.
She said Idaho Falls Care has had plenty of time and opportunities to comply with regulations, but has failed to do so.
They can re-apply for Medicare in about six months.
