Man charged after steak knife attack
A 48 year old Idaho Falls man was arrested Thursday on charges of aggravated assault after threatening a 39 year old woman and her 16 year old daughter with a kitchen knife. Roman Manuel Adams was also charged for disturbing the peace.
Idaho Falls Police said several officers were called to a domestic dispute in the 2100 block of Craig Avenue around 7:30 pm Thursday. The woman and her daughter left the house, but Adams refused to come out or let officers in.
The woman told police she and Adams were arguing about the daughter living in the house. She said that during the argument Adams retrieved a steak knife and fork and starting coming at the pair while yelling profanities. The daughter called police.
