Warmer weather means greater risk of frozen pipes
Cities throughout eastern Idaho are warning residents to keep a trickle of water running in their homes to avoid having their pipes freeze.

City officials from Rigby and Idaho Falls said Thursday that they are having more issues with people’s pipes freezing.
Rigby Public Works Director Rick Lamoreaux said keeping a trickle of water running will help prevent this. A stream of cold water as thin as pencil lead should be sufficient.
