Fur trappers host big sale

Local fur trappers hosted a big sale in Blackfoot over the weekend, featuring untanned hides.

Small items like muskrats sold for less than $10, but larger items, like bobcats, sold for more than $400 apiece.

An estimated $100,000 was paid out to the trappers. Most of that business came from wholesalers in Russia and China.
