Local man looks to raise money for a new school in Kenya

Preston Lindsay of Rexburg is involved with a non-profit organization called The Kenya Project. It will build a new high school in the poverty-stricken town of Kakamega, Kenya.
The goal is to give children a better future and hopefully change the infrastructure of their town so it can prosper. Local sponsors and the city of Rexburg are backing the cause.
Lindsay and Madison Middle School students will be holding a garage sale, a walk-a-thon, and an auction in the next few months to raise funds for the school.

“I firmly believe that when we come together, miraculous things can happen,” said Lindsay.
