Pair arrested on drug charges after traffic stop
A man and a woman are in custody on drug charges after a traffic stop early Tuesday morning.
Pocatello police pulled over a pickup for a faulty headlight shortly before 1 a.m. on Wilson Avenue.During the stop, police found small amounts of suspected methamphetamine, syringes and a scale.
James William Smith of Rockland, 43, was arrested on a charge of possession of methamphetamine and cocaine. He was already on felony parole.
April Dawn Steed of Pocatello, 25, was arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.Steed was on felony probation.
