Man rearrested in Costco voyeurism case
A man already facing a charge of video voyeurism after allegedly recording a child in a Pocatello Costco restroom is now facing 25 counts of possession of sexually exploitative material (child pornography) as part of an ongoing investigation.
James Blatter, 35, of Chubbuck, was a Costco employee when a father said he caught Blatter recording his son using a handheld camera that looked like a pen. Police from various agencies started to investigate Sept. 30. The Associated Press had reported Blatter was out on bail Oct. 2, a day after he was originally arrested on a charge of video voyeurism.
He was rearrested Tuesday night at his home on the child pornography charges, Chubbuck police said.
Authorities have not said whether the voyeurism case was an isolated incident.
