Jones fans 10 to lead Tigers over Rams

POCATELLO, Idaho (KIFI) - Idaho Falls beat Highland 4-1 Tuesday to open a three game series that will determine the top seed in the 5A district 5/6 tournament. Merit Jones threw 10 strikeout in seven innings at Halliwell Park to get the win.

The win give the Tigers a one game lead over the Rams heading into the Wednesday's double header at Melaleuca Field. Idaho Falls can clinch the top seed by getting at least a split.
