IF Round Up kicks off with breast cancer awareness

The Idaho Falls War Bonnet Round Up kicked off Friday. The Eastern Idaho Medical Center is educating big crowds about breast cancer awareness.

“I think everyone knows someone who has been battling breast cancer, whether that’s an aunt or a mom,” said EIRMC community relations specialist Nathan Miller. “This is just a great opportunity for them to come, and learn more about what breast cancer means and how they can prevent it for themselves.”

Breast cancer survivors will be at the Sandy Downs Arena to help educate the public in a more familiar atmosphere. EIRMC said the rodeo round up has been the best place to expand awareness. They will be giving away free information and prizes at their booth this year. The theme is “Tough Enough to Wear Pink.”
