President of FreedomWorks shares message with Idaho GOP

The Republican Bar-B-Q fundraiser was held Thursday night at Tautphaus Park in Idaho Falls.

The guest speaker is very well known on the national circuit and to the Tea Party. Eyewitness News anchor Todd Kunz caught up with Matt Kibbe, the president and CEO of FreedomWorks and asked what his message is for Region 7 Republicans?

“I think my message is two-fold. First of all, when the Republicans stand for something, when they stand for liberty and fiscal responsibility and the freedom of the individual, they win elections. Second of all, the world has changed and is shifting a lot of power and knowledge away from party bosses, back to the end user, the voter, the citizen, the people that make up this country,” said Kibbe.

This is the 42nd annual Bar-B-Q fundraiser for the Region 7 GOP.
