SE Idaho pays tribute to 9-11 victims

On Thursday afternoon, community members throughout southeastern Idaho gathered on the steps of the Bannock County Courthouse for the Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Committee’s annual 9-11 remembrance ceremony.

With a moving speech by keynote speaker and current Chubbuck police officer, Jordan Johnson, others came out to tell us their stories behind that tragic day and how it impacted Idahoans thousands of miles away from the scene and even further away from where the post-9-11 insurgencies were fought.

But, a journalist couldn’t possibly do this story justice, so in this video, those who attended the event were the ones to tell this story.
