Same-sex couples celebrate latest court ruling
Same-sex couples are celebrating Friday’s Supreme Court ruling which could pave the way for same-sex marriages to begin in Idaho.
“I didn’t ever think I’d live to see this day,” said Allissa Mitchell, who said she may one day like to marry her girlfriend.
“Love is love and I think it’s a great day for the state of Idaho,” said Ann Boehmer.
All week long, court ruling after court ruling have brought victories for both sides of the debate.
“We’ve had a lot of promises and a lot of loss and we’ll just hang in there and see what we get,” said Rev. Lyn Cameron, minister at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Idaho Falls.
