Chubbuck to get first-of-its-kind theater in Idaho

Just two days after Amy’s Kitchen announced it would be taking over the Heinz plant in Pocatello, there’s more economic promise for the region Friday.

This time, the Carmike Pine Ridge 10 in Chubbuck is gearing up for a major expansion project.

They’ll be adding 6,000 square feet to its existing theater, and building the first large-format theater in Idaho.

The new theater will consist of a 60-feet wide, three-story tall screen with both 2D and 3D capabilities.
