Daugherty named Assistant Superintendent

Former Teton County, Wyoming Planning Director Jeff Daugherty has been named Assistant Superintendent of Operational Services for the Teton County School District.

Daugherty will oversee the operational operations of the school district, including transportation, facilities and maintenance, food service, human resources, and finance.

School Board Chair Patricia Russell said, “I am excited to welcome Jeff to the district. His experience in local government and the private sector will be an invaluable addition to our district in the area of operational services.”

Some of the district’s immediate challenges include reconfiguring Jackson and Colter Elementary to Kindergarten through fifth-grade schools, constructing Munger Mountain Elementary School, and exploring how to address anticipated state budget cuts.

Daugherty will officially join the district on November 1, 2016.

For the past two years, Daugherty has been area manager for First American Title.
