Snow showers are moving in as a series of storms roll in from the pacific. Tonight, on-and-off snow showers. Totals will range from around 2 to 3 inches in the valleys to close to a foot in some mountain locations. Lows will be in the upper teens and 20’s. Friday, on-and-off rain/snow showers. Some valley and plain locations will see rain in the afternoon hours. Locations above 5500 feet will mostly see just snow. Highs in the 20’s and 30’s. New snow totals will range from an 1-3 inches in the Snake River Plain, to 3-6 in the mountain valleys, 6-10 inches in the higher mountains. Saturday, on-and-off snow showers with windy conditions. Highs mainly in the 20’s and 30’s. Count on a few more inches of snow particularly in the south east highlands. Sunday, a few lingering snow showers in the eastern high country with breezy conditions. Highs in the 20’s and low 30’s.
