Disturbing Snapchat images prompt police response to Idaho Falls motel
The Idaho Falls Police Department responded to Motel West on West Broadway after getting a report of “disturbing images” being posted on Snapchat.
Sgt. Scott Killian said a woman saw images of what appeared to be a person shot in one of the rooms on the “story” of a friend. Killian said the friend, an unidentified male, was reported to be suicidal.
When officers responded, they were able to talk to the man, who came out of the room without an incident. Killian said that the man did not know officers were there.
The man was not hurt, but was taken to the hospital to be checked out.
