Woman arrested for theft, including leg braces

Sky Lynn Larsen, 19, of Pocatello has been charged with the theft of a backpack and custom leg braces.

Pocatello Police said they were called at 7:45 a.m. Friday to investigate a burglary in a garage. The victim stated her daughter’s backpack and leg braces had been removed from the back of her wheelchair. Another backpack and some other small items were also missing.

A witness saw a woman wearing a high visibility jacket and carrying a backpack that matched the stolen property in the 1400 block of North Main at around 2:15 p.m. Friday.

Detectives responded to the area and contacted Larsen. Police said the stolen property was recovered.

Larsen was charged with burglary.
