Tetonia man hospitalized after SH 33 crash

A 32-year old Tetonia man was hospitalized Thursday night after his 2001 Toyota Corolla crashed at milepost 132 on State HIghway 33 near Tetonia.

Idaho State Police said Daniel Singh failed to negotiate a curve in the road. His car traveled through a ditch, went airborne, hit a power pole and a fence before coming to rest on another fence.

Singh was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the car.

He was taken to Teton Valley Hospital, but later transferred to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.

Power was disrupted for a time, but has since been restored.

In cooperation with the Teton County Sheriff’s Office, Idaho State Police said their investigation is continuing.
