IDFG needs your help finding moose abusers
The Idaho Department of Fish and Game responded to calls about a calf bull moose that had an arrow sticking out of its head outside Rexburg near the Teton Lakes Golf Course Wednesday, December 20.
The moose was sedated, and the arrow was removed.
Even though it was injured, biologists thought the animal’s best chances of survival would be to be released on site rather than transported to another location.
Officials said it also appeared the animal had received other recent arrow shots to the head.
Conservation officers are seeking your assistance in finding those responsible for this abuse.
If you have helpful information, call the Citizens Against Poaching (CAP) Hotline at 1-800-632-5999 or District Conservation Officer Andrew Sorenson at 208-390-0632.
