Fire threatens structures near Inkom
UPDATE 7/10/18: The Bureau of Land Management reports the Indian Creek Fire, located three miles southwest of Inkom, has burned 60 acres.
The fire was caused by lightning and is about 50 percent contained.
Five engines, one helicopter and one dozer are fighting the fire.
Crews will continue securing fire line and mopping up Tuesday.
UPDATE: The Bureau of Land Management reports a lightning strike caused the fire three miles southwest of Inkom Sunday night.
Firefighters were able to stop the fire from spreading to the east. Crews are now circling around to get it more under control.
Three helicopters are helping the crews up in the mountains.

The Bureau of Land Management reports a fire three miles southwest of Inkom near Indian Creek is threatening structures.
As of 2:45 p.m., BLM reports the fire is 8 acres.Four engines, one dozer and air attack originally responded around 2:00 p.m.Additional resources including four retardant planes, a helicopter and two engines are responding to the fire.
