UPDATE: I-15 now open after downed power line blockage
UPDATE: 7-17 8:10 a.m.
Idaho State Police said several power lines were downed on Interstate 15 near Pocatello’s Clark Street Exit at around 5:13 p.m. Monday.
A southbound 2017 International semi, pulling one trailer and driven by Larry Clark, 50, of South Jordan, Utah was struck by one of the falling lines. Rodney Cluff, 57, of Pocatello was also driving southbound. His 2014 Kenworth Tractor, pulling one trailer, struck the downed lines in the roadway.
ISP said one of the power poles caught on fire and toppled over, bringing down multiple other lines in the area. Both north and southbound lanes were block by the power lines for approximately 3.5 hours.
UPDATE 8:00 p.m. Mon: The Idaho Transportation Department reports Interstate 15 is now open at the Clark Street Exit in Pocatello after a downed power line blockage.

Idaho State Police reports both northbound and southbound traffic is blocked.
Northbound traffic is being diverted at S 5th Ave., exit 67.
Southbound traffic is being diverted at Pocatello Creek Rd., exit 71.
