Man dies after being ejected from vehicle
A 33-year-old man died after he was ejected from his vehicle in a rollover crash on State Highway 87 at milepost 8, near the Montana border in Fremont County, Idaho around 6:14 a.m. Monday.
Idaho State Police reports Brian H. Eekhoff of Manhattan, MT, was driving southbound on State Highway 87 in a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado pickup when he drove off the left shoulder of the road, where the vehicle rotated and rolled.
Eekhoff was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle.
He succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the crash.
ISP reports next of kin has been notified.
