Clark County orders burn ban
Clark County Commissioners have passed a resolution enacting a ban on open burning.
In it, commissioners state there is an extreme threat of forest, grass and wildfires caused by dry weather and vegetation that could threaten property damage or the loss of life.
The ban applies to all open fires of any kind on all property located in unincorporated areas of the county. The exceptions include campfires with an approved pit at improved campgrounds or picnic areas and agricultural burning with a permit and notification of local fire stations.
