Firefighters responding to fire in Thunder Gulch

The Bureau of Land Management, Clark County and Camas Creek RFPA responded to a fire in the Caribou Targhee National Forest.

It is near Thunder Gulch.

The fire has been labeled the Thunder Gulch fire.

It is about 6 miles west of Spencer, it’s burning about a quarter acre in timber.

There are two engines at the location of the fire.

According to the BLM, there is no high spread potential.

The BLM was able to contain the fire Sunday night.
