Drivers battle snow-road challenges
Driving conditions varied dramatically throughout eastern Idaho Thursday morning.
Roads in Idaho Falls were very slick and numerous early-morning crashes were reported.
But conditions in Blackfoot and Pocatello were less dangerous.
There was very little rain or snow in the area south of Idaho Falls, but Idaho State Police said snow was creating some difficult driving conditions for portions of Interstate 15 and Highway 20.
Mountain passes are snow covered and extremely slick.
In Teton Valley and Palisades, conditions are not as severe.
