Drivers asked to avoid 1st Street & Tabor Avenue in Idaho Falls
UPDATE 1/31/19 8:28 P.M.: Around 7 p.m. Thursday night two vehicles heading east on 1st street were involved in an accident.
A red Toyota Tacoma was turning left onto Tabor when they were rear ended by a a white Vokswagen Jetta that was following too closely.
Traffic was being diverted off of first street.
No one was hurt in the accident.
The investigation is still ongoing.
ORIGINAL STORY: Drivers in Idaho Falls are being asked to avoid the area of First Street and Tabor Avenue.
The Idaho Falls Police Department is responding to a 2-car crash after a Volkswagen Jetta and a pickup truck collided. It happened around 7:00 pm on Thursday (1/31/19). The Eastbound lanes of the intersection are currently blocked, which is backing up traffic.
