Eagle Rock Sanitation to serve Ammon business

Ammon business owners should save some money thanks to a new sanitation contract.

Mayor Sean Colletti said the city will contract with Eagle Rock Sanitation for all of its commercial sanitation services beginning March 1. Eagle Rock Sanitation is locally owned and has been serving eastern Idaho for over 20 years.

Residential service will continue to be provided by the city of Ammon.

The new contract is expected to save commercial customers approximately 23.5% per cubic yard.

For a customer using a 6-yard sanitation service twice a week, fees will drop from $208.32 per month to $168.68 per month under the new contract.

“Eagle Rock Sanitation is looking forward to serving the businesses of Ammon after being selected as the commercial solid waste hauler for City of Ammon franchise,” said Kim Galloway, owner of Eagle Rock Sanitation. “It is an honor for us to bring our know-how and experience to provide the best and most cost effective service for the business community.”

The company will meet with every commercial customer during February to better understand their specific sanitation needs and answer all questions about the transition.
